Rahul Dravid - Wall of Indian Cricket

Rahul Dravid as the captain of Rajasthan Royals led them to win Kingfisher fair play award in DLF IPL 2012. Fair play award is given on the basis of team’s performance in batting and bowling over-rate issues, playing with the game spirit and sportsmanship, respecting the umpires, opposition and team players and sticking to the rules of the game.

Dravid receiving such an award is no surprise because of his qualities is already showcased in carrier. Dravid gave 100% every time he stepped on the field. He did his homework and almost gave 100% attendance for practice session. Patience and temper are the greatest qualities for a test match batsman and Dravid had them in plenty. Above qualities made him to play 93 consecutive test matches for India. He is among the elite group of cricketers to contribute in batting, bowling and wicket-keeping, captaincy turning into a wicket-keeper is a difficult one and as the team demanded he raised to situation and delivered a great record as wicket-keeper. Determination and passion to play cricket resulted a faultless behavior in his long carrier and with no controversies. Delivering when the team needed him most lead him to gain famous titles like Mr. Dependable and Wall of Indian cricket.  Every cricketer who has played and watched the Dravid in and off the field can witness the fact. Even though he was the highest run getter for India in 2011 England tour, he failed badly in 2011-2012 Australia series and as the next test match for India is only after an 8 months or so, he decided to retire and make a way for a youngster. A perfect team player quality was again highlighted by his retirement from Test cricket. When Australia played mind games and every time aggression was shown to him, he makes his revenge only with the bat and never should a miss behavior. He came to criticism only during two events. One of them was making a declaration of Indian innings against Pakistan in Multan, the criticism was made because the declaration was made when Sachin Tendulkar was batting at 196 and even though there was enough time was left in day for Sachin completing his 200. The other is his captaincy during West Indies 2007 World cup where India exited from the cup as it lost to Bangladesh. Wall has been a great ambassador for the game of cricket and his contribution to Indian cricket will be cherished by everyone in future too.

We can take his qualities of determination, conviction and practicing skills and apply to our goals and dreams to make ourselves a successful human being.

why the hell all the Superheroes and fantasy characters are from America?

When I saw the advertisement of Avengers film, I just wanted to ask,

“why the hell all the Superheroes and fantasy characters are from America?”

Do Americans descend from heaven and those so called Superheroes are great grandchildren’s of the God. I come from the land of spiritualism and I can say nothing like that would be the answer. And anyone in the world when asked a question where does divinity and God concept originate? The most simplest of answers will be India, Jerusalem, Mecca, China,etc and the least percentage goes to America. America is famously known as "Land of IMMIGRANTS" and they don't even have a strong history of kingdoms, dynasty, etc compared to the other countries. They had no conventions in any particular event things were framed and followed on only with what they wanted at the time needed so only we could see a lot of free minded individuals and more of individuality concept. This concept helps only for business, science and technology. When it comes to something that wanted to unite people and create hope there is nothing to drive the people of America. Anyone can ask what did the other countries have I can fairly answer the question other countries do had situations and religious beliefs and families to drive them. Example India had great epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana and great Indus  civilization and kings like Asoka, Greek had their own Gods, kings like Alexander and Genghis khan, similarly every other had their own systems which propelled them who they are and for their  motivation. In case of America I think they lack something like the above quotient and with the individuality concept and scientific thinking they started creating heroes like American captain, Superman , Batman, Iron man ,etc and a team like Avengers and Justice league were created by grouping superheroes to fight against the evil. Even though America had 200 year odd presidentship, people had to look for fantasy stars and the solution was provided in the way of superheroes from comic book companies.

The Untamed One-----

                   From the early man to modern man there has been a common thing with the external world .
That is the word tame remains the same for both . For instance early man tamed the animals whereas the modern man tames the machines . The one that is not tamed according to me is our mind . Every successful person have done it but by and large comes under those who dosen't tamed it . Now I am going to share my lifetime experience with my mind . Its happens to be my failure note mostly with my mind . What is the fun is that I can't win or either deceive it . As on counterpart it makes a specious decisions and make me to arrive at a land of bedlam .

My experience in a precise poem
                   
                             " An exotic journey pounded ugly ,
                               Ranted with pros and cons inside ,
                               Celebrated with air raids like regrets ,
                               Rekindled with some moments for rucksack ,
                               I always wanted to elude ,
                               Tickled only with morbid realizations ,
                               Oh my mind I may perish you a day . "

I have even thought why I alone have a situation like this . Then it  was made aware by parents and friends this how a mind is for everyone , The one who tame's it is a winner forever .

 Times have changed , I have grown a lot mentally . Some of the words which comforted me came from Little Master SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR . He said , " If my son wants to become a cricketer , It should come from his heart and not from his mind . As it came to me from my heart  I am able to enjoy my game as I am playing " . That's the key , I thought for a moment . As I decided from my heart , I was able to accept my mind as it was . Healing process was felt . After this life was so simpler and situations were bounded with solutions , a state of peace came as a truth to me .

State Of A Pity Man

 I am going to talk about the situation of the pitiful person in India . The one who is known for his wit and
excellence is suffering a lot . He may have won best ECONOMIST awards , but now he is facing the most toiling period of his lifetime . Yes it is our honorable prime minister of India Mr . MANMOHAN SINGH .

Its days after the resignation of Dhayanidhi Maran ( textile minister , second minister to resign after a suspicion in 2g case ) there are many moot questions arising around Singh for his overdue and impasse act on the Maran issue . Wasn't he reluctant on Maran's resignation . Probably no , but what made him to remain silent is the fear of DMK alliance . His party congress is also not keen as it involves Suresh Kalmadi's commonwealth scandals , etc to point on DMK directly . Moreover there is great fear from J.Jayalalitha , Tamil Nadu chief minister , because if she join hands with BJP , there may be a lack  of majority for congress to rule in centre provided minnow's join hand with BJP . All because of Jaya's powerful acquisition of majority plus of seats in state .

In this state Singh has a lot of pressure from cabinet to media and for people , for whom he is there . Under Sonia Gandhi , Singh has not much to talk , he may listen properly and do an performance that's all he can . I feel very pity of him . Lets all pray that he may be rescued soon .
